May 2, 2015. May 2, 2015. Wednesday was a grief day. It was a beautiful day. A celebration day, even-our sweet Maya turned 6! But, it was also a grief day. I know a God who gives life. He gives life to our bodies, and if we trust Him, He gives life to our souls. My Malia girl will always have life. Because if she doesn’t keep her body here, she will get a new one. How amazing is that! Revelation 21:5-7 says this: He who was seated on the throne said, I am making everything new! Pictures and a Prayer.

Malia entered 2015 with a bang, as she face-planted in the pavement. After the fall she started having some strange jerks in her body. After a couple of days in the hospital, we knew that the jerks were called myoclonic seizures, and that Malia had a very serious type of epilepsy called. This comes with plenty of seizures, but worse, it is caused by some untreatable underlying brain disease which gets worse over time, and in most cases leads to an early death. Finally, here are also Maya and Lias and us.
