Empowering Youth Through Service to Others. Teen Volunteer, Rachel, and her egg-donating hens, the “Spice Girls”. Healthy Community Kitchen is as much about fortifying the healing body as it is about strengthening the communal body. Our teen program builds community through genuine caring and action. Our clients benefit but so do the teen volunteers and the rest of our community, as our teen chefs develop invaluable skills and insights to make the world a better place. I’m ready to volunteer!
