Agencies working to better the health of the citizens of Licking County. About the Community Health Improvement Committee. How did the CHIC get started and what is its purpose? The Licking County Community Health Improvement Committee (CHIC) is comprised of 20 agencies who all whom are part of the public health system in Licking County. These agencies work to better the health of the citizens of Licking County, and they all have agreed to form the CHIC to work collaboratively to accomplish this goal.

A total of nine subcommittees were formed to address these priorities and they are responsible for reporting their progress to the CHIC on a quarterly basis.
