An Open Letter to. Might this letter be for you? Wednesday, November 30, 2005. Now for something a little more seasonal. Temperatures have dropped again, so if any more precipitation falls it will likely be in the form of snow. Tonight I ride the first of the zone 2 trainer rides in the Computrainer Challenge. Posted by sweetpea at 11:02 AM. Tuesday, November 29, 2005. I'm thinking about building an ark. Was back at the gym yesterday doing some strength training. Worked my way through the exercises t...

An Open Letter to......: February 2006
http://imcsweetpea.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
An Open Letter to. Might this letter be for you? Tuesday, February 28, 2006. 2500 meter swim in the AM ; 6km run in the PM. Started to ride the computrainer challenge ride, but part way into the ride I heard these strange, what sounded like electrical, noises. Finally determined that it was tire melting on the drum of the CT. Brought a quick end to the ride. Rode and easy hour on the CT, then did the Challenge ride, and rode an easy cool down watching my spin scan trying to even out my pedal stroke.

An Open Letter to......: October 2005
http://imcsweetpea.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
An Open Letter to. Might this letter be for you? Monday, October 31, 2005. Since the half marathon I wanted to run filled up so quickly, I think I am going to try a 10 mile race in Ajax instead. I have never run a 10 mile race before so it will be a new experience and since it is my first time I am guaranteed a personal best time! I figured a 10 mile race is close enough to a half marathon that I won't feel like I wasted the training. Good luck, Ken. Prioritize low glycemic index carbohydrates. Carry all...

An Open Letter to. Might this letter be for you? Monday, December 19, 2005. I finally posted some pictures of my finished knit projects, just click on the thumbnails along the right to see some larger photos. Get off and run a marathon. Sunday I did a 14 kilometer run. It was fairly cold, but 95% of the sidewalks are clear so footing wasn't too much of a problem. Posted by sweetpea at 11:28 AM. Thursday, December 15, 2005. Ugh, I got lazy again. 8K run at lunch in the snow and wind. So that's about it in...

Alex VanderLinden: June 2014
http://alexjvanderlinden.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 27, 2014. My focus race during this first phase was Syracuse 70.3, so my thoughts will be about how each of the other races went towards focusing on this one. Phase II has now started with the goal race at the end being Steelhead 70.3, but my racing ways won't disappear. I have already done my first mtb race as I get ready for the Canadian off-road championships in Milton in another week, and I will also be racing Bala Falls as a quick road tune up before Steelhead.
