LTR Summer 2016: the summer session and 'stogine' live project. Our summer activity ended a few days ago. The entwined Summer Session with our archeological 'Stogine' endeavours fused over a wide landscape with milk lines, a shingler's chapel, a local sensory map, remembering smoke at the sauna, a revolving non-sitting bus-stop seat for 2 (a better title to come soon). New well and eventual manhole cover. The Geological Museum in Vievis. Is dedicated to minerals, archaeological and geological histories of Lithuania and the surrounding region, including bore samples. During the 'Stogine' project and subsequent Summer Session 16 we felt suddenly glamorous as water ran out of the tap at a good pace. At night when the lights were turned on inside it was a ghostly lantern in the landscape. Since 1935, Rock City barns have stood as genuine highway Americana, their bold white-on-black signs compelling both snowbirds and Sunday drivers to a spot near Chattanooga, Tennessee, where they could “See Rock City.”. Http:/ www.seerockcity.com/about/barn-history. Rock City surrounds 'Lookout Mountain' and seems to have been visited and most likely named by the Cherokee tribe 'two mountains looking at each other'.
