I was particularly inspired by the wonderful stories of Ruth Park, Ethel Turner, Alan Marshall and JR Tolkien. They kept me company as a child. As I grew older I discovered the joys of Charles Dickens, Thomas Hardy and Jane Austen. Writing is my passion, but I do other things in my life that revolve around business, not for profit activities, study and teaching.
