The wind today is horrendous, although I shouldn't be complaining when you think about what the poor people of Queensland have had to endure this week! HEART IN THE COUNTRY. The ramblings of a country dweller. Friday, April 10. Yesterday I carried on with some more sewing for the kitchen. At the moment we have curtains and a pelmet, but I want to change that to a cast iron curtain rail and just curtains, however since we have had a pelmet since we built the house I thought the window might look slightly bare when the curtains are open, so I thought I would make some bunting to drape across. What do you think? I then decided to take a trek over to Baileys.
