Casita Celestial is located overlooking the picturesque village of Iznajar, itself perched on a rocky outcrop above the biggest lake in Andalucia. The casita is private, quiet, and not overlooked. Iznajar is a village of around 5000 people, it is traditionally Spanish, with narrow streets, small shops, and coffee bars on many corners. There is a post office, hospital and pharmacy, and most everything else you need for a holiday. The town of Rute is a 10 minute drive and has a large supermarket. During the summer months the beach has shades and chairs for hire, plus various non-motorised water craft. There is a new municipal outdoor sports centre with pool, tennis, football and other facilities.

Casita Celestial is a private holiday home for you and your family to enjoy. It has a dedicated, shaded parking space, and from here there is a short flight of steps (with handrail) to the property itself. It is newly renovated and has a large terraced area, facing south and west. There are always sunny areas and also shade. Our own house is next door and the grounds of both properties are full of trees (we have around twenty olives and three oaks) and, for most of the year, colourful flowers.

Many airlines fly to Malaga and Iznajar is an easy one hour drive from there. We are also an hour from Granada airport. We will send detailed directions to you, and like to meet you in Casa Juani's bar, located adjacent to Lake Iznajar, on the main road A333. It is easy to find. From there it is a short drive up the hill, into the countryside, to Casita Celestial. We recommend arriving in daylight. Please also note that on Sundays the shops are closed, although bars and restaurants are open.
