A Blank Canvas: November 2012
http://sarahydavid.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 29, 2012. Smoky Mountain Girls Weekend. Just as the leaves were starting to change, Kathryn and I made a trip up to the Smoky Mountains to visit Leigh Ann. We had an adventurous trip up the mountain. We learned 2 profound life lesson:. 1) When driving in the mountains, neither a GPS nor smart phone can be trusted. 2) When driving in the mountains at night, it is DARK. But thankfully we made it there safe and sound (only took 3 hours longer than expected). We walked around the farm area.

Tuesday, January 1, 2013. 2012 Recap and 2013 Goals. 2012 was a good year, a full year. It was also a challenging year, full of much waiting, much praying, and in God's perfect timing, much answered prayer. I am thankful to have completed 2012, and I am thankful for all the growth and lessons learned. I am thankful for having experienced God's love and faithfulness. I thank God for what He helped us accomplish this year:. And I found a full-time job which I enjoy. Co-workers became good friends. This yea...

A look into the life of a Capt. and his teacher wife. Wednesday, June 18, 2014. As our time is dwindling down in Arizona, Bradford and I have vowed to make the most of it. Seeing friends, new places, loved places, etc. This past weekend he informed me that we had some going away parties to attend for some of his guys who I have maybe met a couple times before. Of course I'll be there for support, babe. Tasting everything at VomFass. Views from the Chapel of the Holy Cross. Our view from the lunch spot we...

Shields Story: Sunday News
http://bradani.blogspot.com/2015/04/sunday-news.html
A look into the life of a Capt. and his teacher wife. Sunday, April 5, 2015. Ohio has brought us many new friends and adventures. We're so grateful for our move here and to take on a different pace of life. Brad's back into the swing of school and I am semi taking some time off from teaching. It is with our greatest joy on this beautiful Easter Sunday to share what we have now been celebrating for weeks in our home. Or so it seems as he tilts his head when we tell him! A look into the life of a Capt. and his teacher wife. Sunday, September 29, 2013. A little behind the times. I suppose not much has happened in the lives of Shields to report since I recently glanced back at our blog and realized I'd not posted since March! I have begun another year of teaching the first grade at the same school and Brad still at Luke, getting ready to pin on 1Lt (! In a little over a week which we are so excited for. Ah, life. :). We're enjoying our fall so far with football and friends!

A look into the life of a Capt. and his teacher wife. Saturday, April 25, 2015. So tomorrow marks 13 weeks our baby has been growing! Brad and I went to have another ultrasound this past Friday on base. It was so much fun to see our little bit wiggling around so much! Needless to say, we asked her to write it down and seal it in an envelope for us. We took votes, everyone wore pink or blue and one of our good friends got some games together for everyone to play! Here's the video of our reveal below!

Shields Story: October 2012
http://bradani.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
A look into the life of a Capt. and his teacher wife. Thursday, October 11, 2012. During my two weeks in Ohio with Brad in May, we were able to spend Memorial Day weekend with my maternal grandparents in my hometown of Findlay, OH. Grandpa Reamsnyder wasn't at his best when we visited. he had recently taken a small fall and couldn't walk or do too much on his own. It's hard saying goodbye to family, but I know he's in a better place now. Love you, Grandpa. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Teacher Bits and Bobs.
