Monday, August 23, 2010. Wow, it's been a long time since anyone has updated this. We are all still alive and doing well. Jodi and the kids are enjoying family back home while I stay home and continue working on my thesis. Once I get it done I don't think I ever want to look at it again. I guess the lesson is, "just be happy with your bachelors degree! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Proud parents of four boys and one girl. Kylie: The only sister. Philip: the littlest brother. We also made our annual trip to Utah! It's always so much fun. We always try to pack our trip full of lots of fun things. During our trip we went ice skating, went swimming, attended the North Logan 24th of July celebration. Here are a few pics of our many adventures. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Scholes Abode: April 2015
http://nathanlisascholes.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
And so it begins. Boxes are slowly starting to take over the hallway. It is taking me a lot longer to pack everything than usual, though I am not sure why. I just can't seem to get the motivation to keep up the steam of packing. But since we only have about 2 weeks until we move, I really do need to get these things taken care of. Yays and Nays: April Edition. This week's edition of "yays and nays" is brought to you by the letter "C". As in; crazy, cookies, cars and crabgrass. I have had a lot of pretty ...

The Scholes Abode: May 2014
http://nathanlisascholes.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Today I went grocery shopping. Twice (Because I forget things). Saw adorable (super adorable) puppies. Took a walk with my love. And saw the movie Non-Stop (also with my love). Not a terribly busy day, but nice. Last night, Bruce and I went to the drive-in to see "Maleficent". When we arrived at the theater, there was already a queue of cars waiting for the moment they would be allowed entrance, so we lined up behind them and waited. Anyway.) and let me play it while we waited. I am renting a dress for t...

The Scholes Abode: October 2014
http://nathanlisascholes.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Even though I am sick, Bruce and I maintained our tradition of watching "Arsenic and Old Lace" for Halloween. If you have never seen it, you really should. It is a classic! And is super funny to boot! Well, the blog transition has been completed (clearly), so if you're reading this, welcome to our new home! I am playing hooky from work, though can it really be hooky if I'm actually sick and lying on the couch slipping in and out of consciousness? The funny version goes something like this:. Hopefully we'...

The Scholes Abode: June 2014

Bruce and I got a bit of a shock today when we kissed. No, really.we literally shocked each others lips. It hurt a little, but made us both laugh. Never knew that could happen. We had a few bouts of torrential rain today. It was kind of awesome listening to it and the thunder, and even better running through it this afternoon. Rain is good for the soul. What is your verdict? I got my first-ever jury summons the other day. With this aspect of things anyway. We used lemons as part of our wedding decor.

The Loveland Family: January 2011
http://thelovelandfamily.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 18, 2011. We had Brian's first Pinewood Derby last week. He had lots of fun making his car and even more fun racing it. We must have done pretty well for our first try since he won 3rd place. In his den. His den had the most entries too, there were 12-15 other cars. Andrew and Timothy can hardly wait until it's their turn. They already have their cars all designed. :). But I have pictures of the rest of the process. Andrew wanted to help so bad. Drilling holes in the bottom to add weight:.

The Loveland Family: Happiness
http://thelovelandfamily.blogspot.com/2011/03/happiness.html
Friday, March 25, 2011. Happiness means different things to different people at different times. Today we find our definition of happiness in Psalms 127: 3-5, which says:. Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them. . .". We are happy to add to our already full quiver! Expected arrival for this little arrow is October 19, 2011. Click on the pi...
