http://teamchrinzi.blogspot.com/2014/08/preschool-and-monsoon-season.html
Wednesday, August 27, 2014. Preschool and Monsoon Season. Sam started preschool with Ms. Marjorie on August 12th. She goes T/TH from 8:45-11:15. When we picked her up after her first day she grabbed Madi's leg and exclaimed, "I just loved it Madi. I can read to you now! My child is a really quick learner.now if I could only get her to carry her own backpack. We started the day off with donuts from the Donut Wheel. And ended it playing in the rain. We have had such a great monsoon season this year.

Thursday, April 24, 2014. Two and a half no longer. If you asked Samantha how old she was, the answer was always 2 in a half. Now she can finally round up to 3! They had bacon salt, baconaise, and bacon brownies. Dig in birthday girl. Sam is my sun lover. She doesn't care how hot it is outside she will go and lay on the grass and just absorb the warmth. At bedtime we have created a Stella character that does many of the things that Samantha does. If Chris is gone too much, I start to see a pattern of...

Wednesday, November 20, 2013. Madilynn is 9 months! Madi had her 9 month check-up last week. She got cleared for duty. The pediatrician did hear a loud murmur, but he didn't seem to be worried about it. Hold onto your pants folks, she's huge! Weight: 16 lbs (10th percentile). Height: 27 1/2 in (50th percentile). Here's what she's doing:. Crawling all over the place (last weekend she mastered the stairs). Cruising and pulling herself up to everything. Pulling all the books off of the shelf. I don't know w...

Thursday, May 30, 2013. Summer is officially underway and this is what our days usually consist of:. Outings to the park. Her hat is just for show, it comes off about 2 seconds after I put it on her. Madilynn has no say in the mater so her's stays on. Splashing around in the backyard (and in any pool people will invite us to! Puzzles, puzzles, puzzles. I guess he has very little faith in my teaching influence as a mother. Madi makes a great puzzle audience. Lots and lots of sister and mommy time. He has ...

Sunday, December 15, 2013. The Most Wonderful Time of the Year. Post written by Chris, a rare thing! Just a few words about what we've been up to during this most wonderful time of the year. I have always loved the time from Halloween to New Years, and so far this year has been wonderful. Then we had our highly anticipated San Diego trip (one day we may decide to vacation to someplace other than San Diego and Utah, but if something's working, why change it? Take a picture of us with a convertible. Toss 3...

Thursday, February 13, 2014. A whole other year, a whole other baby. Madilynn is now one! She was treated to some banana and pancake breakfast and a picnic at the park for lunch. She wanted to jump in with the ducks, but we told her she had to be at least two to do something that crazy. She also got a new car seat. We really spoiled her. Her stats: 19 pounds (25%) 28 1/2 inches (25%). Her 3 B's: Blanket, Binkie, and Baby (she is often found in pursuit of me with these 3 things in tote). Chris is a reside...

Sunday, July 14, 2013. Front Porch look'in in. The other day I was sitting in our backyard. I was sweating to death. I heard Samantha squealing because she couldn't get the stroller wheels to operate correctly. I looked up and saw this:. Please note that we have just finished potty training and bottoms have become optional). The next night we were out, again sweating to death, and I stopped and saw this:. I started to think. What in the world do my neighbors think of me? They must think one of two things:.

We just got all our prints today and I can not wait to get them up on the walls. Here are some of our favorites. Linzi Lou, Samantha Boo, Madi Moo, and Chris too. Saturday, August 17, 2013. Chris is on a 2 month rotation that allows him to be home a bit more often than usual. (Let me just say that 12-13 hour days are AMAZING! Let me give you few examples:. I said, "it does...

Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Last Sunday this happened:. It was a day I have been waiting for every Sunday as I try to cram snacks into her to keep her quiet during Sunday school and young women's, but then the day came and it was surreal. Chris happened to be there so he dropped her off. There were no tears. She walked right in and sat down to do puzzles. There is something so liberating to see your child try something new. Making rootbear with Grandpa Brown. Taking a walk in Grandpa Karren's shoes. Chris ...
