Did you see …. January 12, 2012. A freelance illustrator, working and living in Lisbon, Portugal. She has been making collages since she was a child. She used to sit on the floor and tear up magazines for hours, joining pieces of paper of different shapes and colours together. fairdrookit: June 2014
http://fairdrookit.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Friday, 27 June 2014. Now, at the end of June, it seems like a lot of the flowers in the garden are already exhausted - whilst the second wave hasn't quite arrived yet. This proves that I'm not a gardener yet, otherwise I'd have planned things a bit better! The front garden is looking slightly worse for wear after starting off so well (below), and providing me with enough Californian poppies to be able to sacrifice some for an indoor treat. http://fairdrookit.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 31 July 2013. The GG made her first cherry pie, so we invited friends round for pie, ice cream, and a games night. Clearing up afterwards we spotted this amazing creature at the window! Monday, 29 July 2013. The First of the Mohicans. I always look forward to the first little 'mohawk' on the globe thistles. Clearly this bee had been waiting patiently too! Friday, 26 July 2013. The bees are buzzin' in the trees. The bees are buzzing everywhere. Oh, we come back every summer! Our neighbours have...

fairdrookit: December 2014
http://fairdrookit.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 31 December 2014. The garden continued to provide lots to do (picking raspberries, encouraging the tomatoes) and to see. Baby sparrows having a splash about. Pigeon hogging the bath. The wildlife site was in full bloom in summer, and with nothing much to do except admire it I managed to take loads of photos. Poppies lining the route home. Tuesday, 30 December 2014. Well, turn your back for a minute. The year is drawing to a close and I have been so otherwise occupied that I've neglected my...
