Helen Hallows: 'I am Nature' - Creative Visualisations CD Launch

http://helenhallows.blogspot.com/2015/07/i-am-nature-cd-launch.html

Thursday, 30 July 2015. I am Nature' - Creative Visualisations CD Launch. In the last year I have lost and found myself creatively. Established ways of working no longer seemed to thrill me and I felt disconnected from my art and creative space. I felt like I was ticking the boxes but sleep walking through life. I have taken sections of my writings and recorded them as a spoken word CD, 'I am Nature' - Creative visualisations for working with nature as inspiration.'. In publishing this, I hope to share m...

Helen Hallows: Grow Your Own Art

http://helenhallows.blogspot.com/2015/05/grow-your-own-art.html

Tuesday, 26 May 2015. Grow Your Own Art. I've a whole new program of workshops planned for 2015, the first of which is on Saturday 27th June and is called 'Grow Your Own Art'. It is the first of a year of workshops. As I have filled up on inspiration there has been a gentle sing song from within as new ideas sing forth. I'm currently translating that creative song into new work to show later in the year. The first of these workshops will be inspired by growth. 'Grow Your Own Art'. Grow Your Own Art.

Helen Hallows: Recording Memories Workshop

http://helenhallows.blogspot.com/2011/03/recording-memories-workshop.html

Sunday, 20 March 2011. There's been a bit of technological melt down here this week, so sorry for the delay in posting up the pictures from my first workshop. Last Sunday at Beans Coffee Shop Gallery. Here's an array of images from the day, everyone hard at work, and some of the beautiful work that was produced. It was great to see how each individual interpreted the techniques that I use and applied them in their own way. I was really pleased with the outcomes. Such talented ladies! Themed around the se...

fairdrookit: June 2014

http://fairdrookit.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html

Friday, 27 June 2014. Now, at the end of June, it seems like a lot of the flowers in the garden are already exhausted - whilst the second wave hasn't quite arrived yet. This proves that I'm not a gardener yet, otherwise I'd have planned things a bit better! The front garden is looking slightly worse for wear after starting off so well (below), and providing me with enough Californian poppies to be able to sacrifice some for an indoor treat. And poppies, an unexpected gift from the birds! The garden, with...

Monday, 29 July 2013. The First of the Mohicans. I always look forward to the first little 'mohawk' on the globe thistles. Clearly this bee had been waiting patiently too! Friday, 26 July 2013. fairdrookit: December 2014

http://fairdrookit.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html

Wednesday, 31 December 2014. The garden continued to provide lots to do (picking raspberries, encouraging the tomatoes) and to see. Baby sparrows having a splash about. Pigeon hogging the bath. The wildlife site was in full bloom in summer, and with nothing much to do except admire it I managed to take loads of photos. Poppies lining the route home. Tuesday, 30 December 2014. Well, turn your back for a minute. The year is drawing to a close and I have been so otherwise occupied that I've neglected my...
