Cold Knees// UK Fashion & Lifestyle Blog: Getting to know me
http://coldknees.blogspot.com/2014/02/getting-to-know-me.html
Monday, 17 February 2014. Getting to know me. I was tagged by lovely Charlotte. And though I've probably done one of these things ages ago, Lord knows what strange answers I gave then, so let's start afresh. 1 Do you have a middle name? Yes, Alice for my great-grandmother and Kate because my mum liked it and the K is for her grandfather. 2 What was your favourite subject in school? 3 What's your favourite drink? 4What's your favourite song at the moment? 5What would you name your children? In a word, no.

Cold Knees// UK Fashion & Lifestyle Blog: The Valentine's Outfit
http://coldknees.blogspot.com/2014/02/the-valentines-outfit.html
Friday, 21 February 2014. Coat: Monki/ Bag: Zatchel/ Boots: H&M/ Necklace: George@Asda*. Now Asda isn't a place I usually shop- not really for any snooty reasons, there just isn't one near me. Every now and again I do a home delivery as they stock excellent cider, but I have to say their clothing range has passed me by. However when browsing their Valentine's themed pages I was quite pleasantly surprised, and their range of dresses. Was pretty, pretty good! Rachel, Cold Knees. Friday, February 21, 2014.

One day...: Tips on Surviving a Family Holiday while suffering from Mental Health Problems
http://theonedayseeker.blogspot.com/2015/07/tips-on-surviving-family-holiday-while.html
Friday, 31 July 2015. Tips on Surviving a Family Holiday while suffering from Mental Health Problems. There is no such thing as a perfect holiday! Your mental health problems will not disappear just because you've gone on holiday. You don't have to be happy the whole time you are on holiday. I have to say that on my holiday, I'd never felt so happy in a long time as when I made some sandcastles on the beach. Yes, I'm 23 and I made a sandcastle and I don't care because it made me feel brilliant! Even so, ...

One day...: December 2014
http://theonedayseeker.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 30 December 2014. 2014 - This was My Year. The granddad whom I lived with and cared for unexpectedly passed away in the middle of my local shopping centre. The horse that I had looked after and trained for the past 3 years had to be sold and while she was just an animal, losing her honestly felt like losing a part of myself. I tried to carry on with the job I loved while struggling to hide the symptoms of my mental illnesses. I experienced countless panic attacks in pub and restaurant toilets wh...

One day...: August 2014
http://theonedayseeker.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Friday, 22 August 2014. My Anorexia Story told in sketches. I look upon that day as the first time I consciously decided to restrict the quantity of food I ate and hence I see it is when my anorexia began. I was 7 years old. As if I didn't blame myself enough already! The One Day Seeker. Tuesday, 19 August 2014. Introductory Post: One Day Seekers. I find myself attempting to begin writing this blog as my life seems to have hit a transitionary period and I guess a part of me hopes that this endeavour may ...

I've had a long week I ended up waking up before 8am and I couldn't get back to sleep so I decided to get on with my day with an early start! I'm definitely feeling positive today which inspired me to write this post. I plan on having a pampering evening and an early night tonight so I'm ready and energised for a new week :). It was once again the case that the whole world their nosy dog came out for a walk whilst we tried to take these photos. So we did it super speedily and consequentially they're not great. Oh well. I'm loving this little crochet top. Wash the juicer after making the juice isn't proving too. Rachel, Cold Knees.

One day...: Coping when your Therapist is on Leave
http://theonedayseeker.blogspot.com/2015/08/coping-when-your-therapist-is-on-leave.html
Friday, 7 August 2015. Coping when your Therapist is on Leave. It's holiday season - that joyous time that sees so many of us jetting off to exotic places or simply chilling and enjoying the sunshine. For those of us who are in therapy of some description, it can be a time that fills us with dread, due to the simple reality that therapists go on holiday too. And so they should! It's an unbelievably tough job and everyone needs to take time out from time to time. I didn't react so well. Whatever the case ...

One day...: Borderline Personality Disorder: Managing Intense Emotions
http://theonedayseeker.blogspot.com/2015/05/borderline-personality-disorder.html
Saturday, 30 May 2015. Borderline Personality Disorder: Managing Intense Emotions. It's just a passing shower. First of all, sorry for my absence. It feels as though I haven't written a blog post in an age, even though it has been on my mind a lot. As I've said already, everyone can become very emotional and overwhelmed at times. It's what makes us human at the end of the day. So this blog post may be useful for anyone to keep in mind for the tough times. It was just a bad day, not a bad life. If you hol...
