Friday, September 4, 2009. We are ninety eight religious who have promised to communicate the love of God through our prayer, contacts and ministries. As members of an International Congregation we are by our charism commited to glorifying the Heart of Jesus. The religious strive to communicate the love of the Heart of Jesus for in Him all find their true growth as persons. Friday, September 4, 2009. In Ireland there are religious of the Sacred Heart in Dublin, Armagh and Roscrea. We can also be found in Edinburgh, Dalkeith, Perth, Iona, Aberdeen and there are three Polish rscj in Inverness ministering to the Polish community in that region. Present in forty four countries and in five continents, we in Ireland have strong links with our sisters in Europe, Uganda and Kenya and the Phillipines. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Thursday, September 3, 2009. Given the present average age of our members ( 74 years) in Ireland and Scotland our activities are somewhat restricted. Those in our reirement homes of Cedar House (Dublin and Rosehill, Dalkeith) focus principally on a life of prayer and contemplation. Others are engaged in ecumenical and pastoral work in parishes, social work, tutoring, spiritual direction and retreat ministries, research and writing. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
