Used to be the Henley Grammar School which was founded in 1605. Not sure when it closed but believe it was the late 70s or early 80s. It is said that Margaret Thacher closed more grammar schools than any other education minister then and to date. So it was possibly during her time? Pack and Prime Lane. The Royal rowing barge Gloriana was there for all to see. So was Sir Donald Campbell’s Bluebird boat that he broke the world speed record in. Here is the man flying a pirate flag!
