MY WORLD……ONE DAY AT A TIME. Ian and I finally made it to San Francisco and what a great trip! It’s such a unique city, with the steep streets, waterfront, Alcatraz and great restaurants! We were fortunate to get a nice hotel (Holiday Inn, Fishermans’ Wharf) in a great location and very clean and roomy. The view of San Francisco from Alcatraz was amazing – you could see the steep streets. It was a lot of fun riding on the cable cars.they still let you hang off the sides! MY WORLD……ONE DAY AT A TIME. December 24, 2013. Niagara United Mennonite Church 75th Anniversary. Our church celebrated it’s 75th anniversary this year, with several celebrations. My Opa Epp was one of the founding fathers. The annual Father’s Day picnic and service was held in the original building, which now sits by Butler’s Barracks off King Street in the Old Town. It was really cool sitting in the old building! Our current church building is a bit bigger. Laquo; Canada Day weekend.

MY WORLD……ONE DAY AT A TIME. December 26, 2013. For several years, I’ve been going with a group from Niagara, “over the river” to Artpark in Lewiston, NY for Tuesday evening concerts. They started out free, until about 2 years ago they had to start charging (a mere $5.00, sometimes a hefty $10.00) because the crowds were getting way too big.
