Duets Need TWO People! | Sheila Joynes's Musical Diary
https://sheilajoynes.wordpress.com/2014/02/07/duets-need-two-people
Sheila Joynes's Musical Diary. Musician and Music Teacher. Duets Need TWO People! Well, not necessarily. Two weeks ago, Stephen discovered that duets existed for organ and piano. I was very sceptical – especially as the ones he had found were very evangelical, happy-clappy, American hymns, not at all my line of country! So I sat the poor man down at an organ he hadn’t seen before, without his reading glasses and we sight-read the whole thing. Here’s a recording. 8230;warts and all. Enter your comment here.

Sheila Joynes's Musical Diary. Musician and Music Teacher. Gilbert and Sullivan Abridged – a review. Maybe paying 2 for a “programme” – a piece of card with a Union Jack on one side and biographies of the cast on the other – should have alerted us to the cheap-skate production we were in for. Even the programme sellers were apologising as they sold them. Gilbert and Sullivan Abridged. The premise of the so called story was that these people belonged to a rather debilitated G&S Society from a village call...
Busy term | Sheila Joynes's Musical Diary
https://sheilajoynes.wordpress.com/2012/12/14/busy-term
Sheila Joynes's Musical Diary. Musician and Music Teacher. Is this a record? Well, it is for me. I have had three pupils taking Grade 8 this term….one on piano, one on cello and one on double bass! The pianist from New College passed with Distinction. I’m still awaiting the results for the other two. On December 14, 2012 at 10:37 pm Leave a Comment. To TrackBack this entry is:. And here’s another record – TWO posts in one day! | Sheila Joynes's Musical Diary
https://sheilajoynes.wordpress.com/2012/12/14/and-heres-another-record-two-posts-in-one-day
Sheila Joynes's Musical Diary. Musician and Music Teacher. And here’s another record – TWO posts in one day! In October his ashes were interred in the grounds of Pershore Abbey because of his strong connections there and his touring organ was imported for the service. It has been loaned to the Abbey so I had to grapple with it this week. I pressed the cancel button again. With NO stops pulled out, the organ was still making a very loud sound. So I phoned a friend…Mike, the Abbey organist. You are comment...
New Arrival | Sheila Joynes's Musical Diary
https://sheilajoynes.wordpress.com/2013/07/05/new-arrival
Sheila Joynes's Musical Diary. Musician and Music Teacher. I have one free day per week. I say free – no, it’s not! I do whatever admin needs doing, record MP3s for pupils, especially blind ones, do the washing, visit my parents, clean the house….you know what it’s like. Well, you can guess what’s coming – I bought an Allen! 8221; – sounds good to me! So here he is! As he was delivered on the 4th of July, and I only knew about Allen’s through the wonderful Mr Curley, I think he has to be named Carlo.
Letting Go | Sheila Joynes's Musical Diary
https://sheilajoynes.wordpress.com/2012/04/12/letting-go
Sheila Joynes's Musical Diary. Musician and Music Teacher. One of the hardest things for a parent to learn is how much to let go and when. Are my kids old enough to go down to the village shop on their own? Are they safe to walk to school with their pals? Can they get the bus into town? 8220;Batty, but beautiful! Amy aged about 9. During the Easter holiday, I had a phone call from her. “I’ve got some news! Well done, Amy! I’m certainly happy to let go for her to do that! To TrackBack this entry is:.

Welcome to our blog.Feel free to post your comments on any of the subjects below. Wednesday, 6 March 2013. Bedrooms are the icing on the cake for KBB retailers. Published 06th March 2013. Retailers that sell kitchens and bathrooms, but not bedrooms, should consider adding bedrooms to their portfolio in order to increase their profit and improve cash flow, as it can provide the much-needed ‘icing on the cake’ for a relatively small investment. Product offering is also important as the bedroom market is mu...
