Despite the term ‘user involvement’ being bandied about more and more these days, when it comes to dementia, genuine ‘user involvement’ is a rare beast. We are lucky then, to have a stellar example of real, meaningful user involvement in York…. It’s not rocket science. It’s called ‘asking people with dementia what they think.’. And this week I had the great pleasure of supporting 7 people with dementia (and 1 carer) to attend the latest panel meeting.
