Legends of the Fall: Monday with BK
http://weareallclausenwitnesses.blogspot.com/2013/08/monday-with-bk.html
Monday, 12 August 2013. O-line Shuffle - Kelly's acknowledgement of Lombard potentially moving inside validates the worst-kept secret of the off-season. What seemed like a message board rumor in April, kept it legs through August. This was simply a case of "where there is smoke, there is fire." Exactly what this means is still ti be determined. Did Hanratty play his waay out of the "best five" or did Stanley play his way in? Rees in the Red Zone - I'll believe it when I see it. Breaking Down the Slate.

Legends of the Fall: January 2010
http://weareallclausenwitnesses.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, 31 January 2010. I woke up to an e-mail from Dunigan this morning reading "Kelly better know what the Hell he's doing.". I'd comment on the hoops game last night but I missed it. From what I understand, I should consider that a blessing. Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone. Saturday, 30 January 2010. Blowing off some steam. Friday, 29 January 2010. Game the same.just got more fierce. I am not sure on the format, frequency, longevity of the effort but this is an idea that's time had come.

Legends of the Fall: March 2013
http://weareallclausenwitnesses.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 27 March 2013. Looking Ahead: Toting the Rock. I’ll start the look at each position with one where we’ve the most question marks in 2012. Greg Bryant and Tarean Folston. I foresee it all shaking out something like this:. Monday, 25 March 2013. Coming to Get You, Bama. After taking an approximately 1,000 day break from the blogosphere, I’ve decided to make another run at this thing. I'll try and approach this with a bit more structured of a format. Re-reading game stories and writing what I wou...

Legends of the Fall: August 2008
http://weareallclausenwitnesses.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 27 August 2008. With college football season upon us, I've decided to do all of you the grand favor or volunteering my infinite wisdom in college football gambling. As defending champion of the Sheffield Garage Pick 'Em League, I obviously have the authority to do so. It should be an interesting season. For our sake as fans, let's hope for some order to return to the world. In any case, let's hope it's predictable for me. North Carolina State @ South Carolina (-12.5). I’ll be first one t...

Legends of the Fall: Road Warriors
http://weareallclausenwitnesses.blogspot.com/2013/09/road-warriors.html
Thursday, 5 September 2013. I am going to save my overall thoughts about Michigan for tomorrow, but I am feeling better and better about Notre Dame as the week goes on. I missed the majority of the game Saturday, but was able to rewatch Monday afternoon. I generally felt pretty good about what I saw. Tommy Rees appears to be physically improved. He missed some throws, sure, but he looked able to stretch the field and keep defenses honest. Inside LBs are not as good as Te'o. I guess we all knew that.

Legends of the Fall: February 2010
http://weareallclausenwitnesses.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Monday, 22 February 2010. I guess it should come as surprise to no one that the same company that continue to employ Tom Hammond would screw things up, but the decision to put the USA-Canada game on MSNBC blows my mind. This was easily the showcase event of the 2010 games thus far and, not only did I have to watch it in RD, but I watched it interspersed with Rachel Maddow commercials. Talk about a disaster. Thursday, 18 February 2010. Wednesday, 17 February 2010. Good Plates Still Available. Watching the...

Legends of the Fall: May 2013

Wednesday, 8 May 2013. Swiftboat Project - Class of 2006. Last month, we'll take a look at Notre Dame's decommitted players to understand if there is any correlation between decomittment in the recruiting process and on the field performance. Let's set the scene. The season began a disastrous 0-3. The Irish never recovered. Despite a win over rival Southern Cal (there was a two-year break with Michigan), Davie was fired and new coaches O'Leary and Willingam took the reins. From Texas A&M to Notre Dame.

Legends of the Fall: Breaking Down the Slate
http://weareallclausenwitnesses.blogspot.com/2013/08/breaking-down-slate.html
Thursday, 22 August 2013. Breaking Down the Slate. When I talked about the notion of high floor team. I should have spent more time on the schedule. Certainly you have to be good to have a high floor, but you also can’t play a bunch of other good teams. In a sport where the champion now rarely goes unscathed, we’ve seen even the best teams falter against good competition. So where does the ND schedule come out in term of difficulty? Play well and we can beat these guys.". Michigan (BK is 1-2). V Michigan...

Legends of the Fall: Hoot Hoot
http://weareallclausenwitnesses.blogspot.com/2013/08/hoot-hoot.html
Friday, 30 August 2013. Like many of you, I am very ready for the season to begin and to have something to write/read about other than semi-informed speculation and breakdowns of propaganda from und.com. The Irish begin the season with the kind of game they should schedule more often. There are three acceptable ways to open the season:. Blockbuster matchup. Huge upside, no downside. Texas in 2015. Team you play regularly and should beat easily. A Tier 3 Game. A one-off opponent who stinks. Temple. I thin...
