Tuesday's Hope: November 2013
http://tuesdayshope.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 14, 2013. About a year ago I tried to resurrect this blog by giving it a lovely makeover (thank you Fran! And getting myself a shiny new domain name, which I forked out some hard earned cash for. I thought I would try and write more and put new spins and slants on my grief that has played a leading role in my life since August 2008, given it has taken more of a back seat in my life for the past couple of years. I have been meaning to write for a few months now. I never even posted ...

Tuesday's Hope: Fairy Tales for Hope
http://tuesdayshope.blogspot.com/p/fairy-tales-for-hope.html
Fairy Tales for Hope. Some people run up mountains. Others grow a mo, or give up booze. But Melbourne artist Tonia Composto created her own endurance challenge in memory of Sally Heppleston's stillborn daughter and to raise money for charity - she produced 31 illustrations in 31 days. The prints are on sale through the Stillbirth Foundation Australia, with all proceeds to the charity. After suffering their own loss, Mr and Mrs Heppleston, who now have a son Angus, 2, and a second daughter Juliet, 1, ...

Tuesday's Hope: One special day
http://tuesdayshope.blogspot.com/2013/03/one-special-day.html
Friday, March 22, 2013. This time five years ago, I was in our western most state, visiting friends and family on one last holiday before the baby arrived. Safely in to the second trimester I had not a worry in the world, well apart from how I was going to cope with labour and in my role as a new mum, but nothing out of the ordinary. Life was good. A few weeks after that tragic event, the reason for this very blog, I was floating around online when I came across Carly's blog. But just last weekend, almos...

All things bright and beautiful: Lake Leschenaultia
http://ailsaphilandgirls.blogspot.com/2013/03/lake-leschenaultia.html
All things bright and beautiful. Sunday, March 31, 2013. While the weather is still so gorgeous, we decided to spend Easter Sunday up in the hills at a favourite spot for the locals. We threw some food in the picnic basket (we bought lunch up there, but well you know kids and fresh air = never stop eating! The water was icy cold despite the outside temperature, but that didn't stop lots of kids swimming. After lots of swimming, the girls wanted to go canoeing! Sunday, March 31, 2013. I had an idea for th...

all that Sazz: Parenting
http://allthatsazz.blogspot.com/p/parenting.html
Start to scroll, I know a whoopee blog. I no longer blog. We've chosen to 'attachment parent'. Our children because we believe this approach to child-rearing best meets all their needs (as opposed to only meeting their material needs). Attachment parenting includes. Birth bonding, breastfeeding, co-sleeping, babywearing and gentle discipline. We also use cloth nappies the vast majority of the time and with our eldest we practiced elimination communication. Wordless Wednesday – Sleeping Beauty | Toushka Lee
http://www.toushkalee.com/2013/01/wordless-wednesday-sleeping-beauty.html
Wordless Wednesday – Sleeping Beauty. Xanthe has always been a good sleeper – except at night, of course. Xanthe falls asleep wherever she is when the tired overcomes her. I find this fascinating because Millar always needed help to go to sleep. I could go on but this is supposed to be wordless. Crashing in a mess of toys. Exhausted after drawing on the hotel wall in Chennai, India. She falls asleep with pencil in hand. While viewing an empty viewmaster. On the table at a caravan park, Melbourne. My husb...

Pongal Photos | Toushka Lee
http://www.toushkalee.com/2012/01/pongal-photos.html
I wrote about Pongal. A couple of weeks ago, and I had hoped to get some good photos, but I didn’t get to see much. Here are the few photos I got during the Pongal weekend. Kolam at a shopping centre in Chennai. Pongal scene in a shopping centre. Pongal decoration outside the restaurant in our hotel. Not my photo. I didn’t see any cows on Mattu Pongal. So, I had to borrow this photo from flickr. Thanks to Kara Newhouse. This entry was posted in Uncategorized. January 26, 2012. A Talcum Powder Situation.

All things bright and beautiful: FRESH FLOWERS IN THE HOUSE
http://ailsaphilandgirls.blogspot.com/2015/04/fresh-flowers-in-house.html
All things bright and beautiful. Sunday, April 26, 2015. FRESH FLOWERS IN THE HOUSE. I discovered a lovely man on a side road that sells the most gorgeous bunches of fresh flowers for a very reasonable price. The colours are just stunning, the fragrant smell divine. I bought a few mixed bunches, mainly because I couldn't decide, and also because it's nice to support the small business. I also got these gorgeous ones! Loving all the colours and smells in my house right now. Sunday, April 26, 2015. So Tues...
