Marky Mark: July 2007
http://markjardine.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 31 July 2007. I've Been Neglecting You! I have to say I've been enjoying a bit of a break. My wife and I had a fantastic time up in Scotland. We spend a lot of time there as I have said before and it is great to spend time with family. With all that in mind it is back to work and back to the grindstone and more of the usual. So I think it fair to say everything is back to normal, although I am now in ownership of a new diary to help me remember things! Tuesday, 17 July 2007. And if you do happen...

Marky Mark: And.... Relax!
http://markjardine.blogspot.com/2007/09/and-relax.html
Friday, 21 September 2007. We are currently decorating our new house. So we have been stripping wallpaper in our spare bedroom ready for decorating, so we can have a calming restful place for guests (predominantly my parents) to stay. We are also having some work priced up for getting some bookcases built for our dining room, so we can have our own private library. Not as posh as it sounds, we just have tonnes of books! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Forthcoming Hessle Theatre Company Productions.

Marky Mark: Balls Please!
http://markjardine.blogspot.com/2007/09/balls-please.html
Tuesday, 25 September 2007. Last night's Barnum rehearsal was HILARIOUS! We began with singing through "One Brick at a Time" and "Come Follow the Band", and practicing the harmonies, which are sounding brilliant. Then after a short break Martin, our director, announced that we were going to begin learning some circus tricks and skills in preparation for floor rehearsals. (You may recall earlier blogs, where I chronicled my failed attempts at learning to juggle! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Marky Mark: They Fly Through The Air With The Greatest Of Ease!
http://markjardine.blogspot.com/2007/11/they-fly-through-air-with-greatest-of.html
Tuesday, 6 November 2007. They Fly Through The Air With The Greatest Of Ease! We had an excellent week last week putting on Mixed Doubles and all things considered we got good numbers through the door. I also hear that the ladies running the refreshments made a killing, nice one ladies! It was a good week, and I was absolutely over the moon that I managed to get through Permanence without laughing, Katherine and I were well chuffed. Although we did have the audiences laughing, so that's also good! Then w...

Marky Mark: October 2007
http://markjardine.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 31 October 2007. I REALLY Don't Feel Well! Tonight is the first night, and nerves have just kicked. After a reasonably successful dress rehearsal I feel confident about tonight. (I hope this isn't naive! Last night was by no means perfect, but then they do say, "Bad dress rehearsal, good first night". Rather tenuously I am saying that there was room for improvement last night, does that count? Labels: Hessle Theatre Company. Tuesday, 30 October 2007. I Don't Feel Well. In my defense the last c...

Marky Mark: I Don't Feel Well
http://markjardine.blogspot.com/2007/10/i-dont-feel-well.html
Tuesday, 30 October 2007. I Don't Feel Well. I am using that as an excuse for the fact that Katherine and I find it very hard to remain quiet for 5 minutes, never mind the whole second half of a production! I really hope we don't get in trouble this week! And I hope to see you there. Tickets are still available for all nights. Wednesday 31st October - Friday 2nd November only £6 each at Hessle Town Hall. Labels: Hessle Theatre Company. You're not wrong though :-). 31 October 2007 at 13:54.

Marky Mark: May 2007
http://markjardine.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 30 May 2007. I haven't posted for a couple of days due to going down to Norfolk to stay with my parents. It would appear the everyone experienced a bit of a wash out this bank holiday (except for the Lake District I have read). Norfolk is definitely an outdoor county; there is very little to do there when it's raining, as we discovered to our cost. Friday, 25 May 2007. When We Were Young? But these consoles cost a fortune, then the games are in excess of £30 a pop! I didn't exactly go without ...

Marky Mark: February 2008
http://markjardine.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Friday, 8 February 2008. Anyway, rehearsals for Barnum have been going really well, and there is lots for everyone to do. Our director Martin Beaumont has a fantastic way of using the chorus in exciting and entertaining ways. Where other companies could fall down, just wheeling out their chorus for the big numbers, Martin has a wonderful way of using the chorus in the background to bring other scenes to life. Tickets are on sale, and the details are on my page. Hope to see you there. 4th - 8th March 2008.
