Seaforde Gardens was sold to me as a place to visit because it has a butterfly garden (… I like that kind of thing….) but it’s actually the part of Seaforde I remember least as I was so taken with the rest of it. The real highlight is the rocky outcrop that the bridge leads to – beautiful views of Rathlin Island and, because the number of people going over the bridge at a time is limited, it’s not too busy so it’s a nice place to have a sit down and enjoy the panoramic views (and maybe a sneaky picnic if you’ve planned ahead).
