Reference the Zig Zag closure. The information I was given about the excavation of the earth bank, and the associated work to get the path reopened was correct. The work is expected to take about a week. However, the path is to remain closed for eight or nine weeks, as it seems there are several trees in the excavation area which have tree preservation orders on them, and to overcome this difficulty apparently takes six or seven weeks.
