In hindsight, I wish ...

starting from seeds: Anatoly Hospitalized part 3
http://omelay.blogspot.com/2013/07/anatoy-hospitalized-part-3.html
Saturday, July 13, 2013. Anatoly Hospitalized part 3. As the doctors became so fond of telling me, they don't usually see 'osteo' like this. Usually is is a small abscess or maybe two, nothing spread out over this much bone. But staph is an aggressive bug, and is good at hiding in bone. No wonder my boy was in so much pain. I hardly had time to think, if only they had seen this Tuesday! Maybe it would have been less severe. I can't find an MRI image online that compares to Toly's. Toly was really concern...

starting from seeds: Wee Woolen Pants and How to Make Them
http://omelay.blogspot.com/2014/02/wee-woolen-pants-and-how-to-make-them.html
Saturday, February 08, 2014. Wee Woolen Pants and How to Make Them. I made a couple pairs of soft wool pants for the baby recently and thought I would share how I did it. These pants are not to be used as a diaper cover. They are much too thin to be effective. When I use them, it will be over another (wool) diaper cover. If you want to make thicker pants, you can use thicker sweaters, but I prefer to make diaper covers more trim and put pants over if baby needs them. Here they are next to one another.

Thursday, September 04, 2014. We had our first day of school on Monday. After morning circle we took bikes downtown, got smoothies, and walked into campus. The kids climbed public art. Then we came across the creek that runs around a eucalyptus grove on campus. There were hundreds of crayfish so we caught some of them and let them go. It was a good way to start the school year. Saturday, July 13, 2013. Anatoly Hospitalized part 1. I have a good reason for not updating here. I'm in the hospital with my six year old son, Anatoly. Toly started to experience symptoms on Sunday, June 30th. He had a fine day but in the evening he suddenly complained of arm pain. He was sitting in our papasan chair when I walked over to look at his arm. I touched him and he was burning up. Oh honey, I bet your whole body hurts! I said as I kissed his forehead and mentally located the children's Tylenol.

Saturday, July 13, 2013. Anatoly Hospitalized part 2. Finding time to type has been hard. If you read my last entry, you know that I left off when we brought Toly back into the the ER. The doctor I spoke to on the phone was waiting for us when we arrived. There was no need for an ambulance, we live about a mile from the Children's Hospital. Toly was in triage in a blink of an eye, and because the doc had heard his screaming over the phone she also had Fentanyl. The MRI took over an hour, after which the ...

But I never link to Amazon unless it is something I really want to share in my journal. Planting stuff you wish you wrote down. I'm Unschool...
