Thursday, June 11, 2009. Meeting Summary 3 June by Kim. We had a great meeting with 5 visiting guests. A special thank you needs to go out to everyone who filled on roles at the last minute. I did forget to say we had about nine apologies for our meeting but luckily it ran rather smoothly. The theme of our meeting was “Mentoring” project 9 from the Competent Leadership manual. Enthused us with the word of the day. Excellently weaved an introduction of Grant's. Speech and although of a serious nature Annie.

Tuesday, October 16, 2007. 1st: Bob Gordon, who had the audience in tears with his talk about the safety of Air New Zealand flights - why don't they make all of the plane of the same material than the black box? 2nd: Maia Toia was talking in a very funny way about his time as a baby - floating in his Mum's womb, playing with his 'skipping rope'. All in all a good way to spend a sunny afternoon. The district convention is in Wellington, from 9-10 Nov - with Randy Harvey, the World Champion from 2004 as ke...
