I will never forget the look in those big brown eyes as I turned around for the last time and walked out that door. As I walked up those stairs for the last time I was taking mental pictures of everything I saw. I knew this would be a day I would never forget. I turned around to see little K standing there. Arms wide open with a big smile peering across that beautiful face. I took her hand and slowly walked towards the corner. I needed to be alone with my princess to say that final goodbye. I love you K.

Chillin' at the Holiday Inn. Sunday is a day of rest." Or so I was told today. And Im sure you are soaking that up for everything it is. But in my house, today is only the beginning to a week filled with. Change usually means one of two things. Happy change, or bad change. My change, is neither. The reason for this indecisive change is the same reason I am up packing rather then "resting" as you should be doing. You might be thinking I am packing for some vacation or some road trip thats soon to come.

And other thoughts and things. My birthday was on Tuesday. Apparently it's not a nationally recognized holiday, so I had to work. Zane and I celebrated on Monday instead, which was just as sweet. After a morning spent at City Creek, Zane and I fought the urge to nap, and instead decided to take Red swimming at Utah Lake. Before we even got our pup, we knew our dog was going to love to swim. (future Splash Dog. And lucky for us, Red has taken to water like a fish. No hesitation, just pure excitement.
