Hip-y Chick - My Limp-Filled Journey to PAO Surgery. Sunday, February 8, 2015. The Core of the Issue. It’s been forever since I’ve written! As far as my hip goes, things have been really great and there hasn’t been much change. I’m still feeling great and doing really well. I’m writing today because I’ve been going through some rather heavy family stuff, and I’m dealing with a situation that may affect my hip. It’s an amazing. We are looking at an early April donation and transplantation process. I’...

PAO recovery and cycling training. Livestrong Challenge 2010 – Seattle. Training Plan & Updates. Thumbing my ride…. I might try my sit upright commuter bike with the really good disc brakes (so I only need to use one) to commute to work. But sustained rides are out for a bit. It is a bummer. At least I helped raise a wee bit of money to fight cancer, which was the whole point anyways. So, I will set my sights on the Tour de Whatcom. I am also going to think about the Chuckanut Century. “Can’t Do” mentality | FrankenHip Rides
https://frankenhip.wordpress.com/2010/04/12/cant-do-mentality
PAO recovery and cycling training. Livestrong Challenge 2010 – Seattle. Training Plan & Updates. 8220;Can’t Do” mentality. I have been trying to get myself motivated to train – and through this effort discovered something about my attitude. Simply put –. It ain’t good. Since my diagnosis about a year ago, and especially following my surgery, I have had a “can’t-do” mentality. I. Go for a hike, I. Kick the ball around with my kids, I. Ride at the bmx track, I. Play softball, I. Walk to the store, etc.

Hip-y Chick - My Limp-Filled Journey to PAO Surgery: PAO Essentials List
http://ahipadventure.blogspot.com/2013/04/pao-essentials-list.html
Hip-y Chick - My Limp-Filled Journey to PAO Surgery. Friday, April 5, 2013. I saw this on another hip blog and thought it was an ingenious idea. It’d probably be good to give you some ideas on things I used to make my life easier post-surgery. These are really in no particular order. If I remember random things over time, I'll continue to add to this post. I had the handle on the inside of the tub, and that helped me immensely. These are adjustable. Plastic trash bag for your chair. 8211; I took an extra...

Hip-y Chick - My Limp-Filled Journey to PAO Surgery: March 2014
http://ahipadventure.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Hip-y Chick - My Limp-Filled Journey to PAO Surgery. Sunday, March 16, 2014. Updating on the painful hip issues. I know it could be any number of things. I could just be that I really need to get back to the gym and work and stretch these bad boys out. It could be that these are the kinds of things I should expect from a PAO-ed hip. It could be that there really is something going on. Who knows, we will hopefully start figuring it out over the next few weeks. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). New Plan of Attack.

Hip-y Chick - My Limp-Filled Journey to PAO Surgery. Thursday, January 30, 2014. It’s been a while so I thought I’d check in and give you some updates and lay down some thoughts I’ve had lately. What’s the latest and greatest in the life of hip-y Danielle? Well, for the past three and a half months, we’ve been building a house! It has been so much fun, and extremely exciting! My main point here is, if we had tried to go through this process two years ago? Of things for the house (Dramatic? Besides all of...
