Parachutes And Patience: Flats Envy
http://parachutesandpatience.blogspot.com/2013/06/flats-envy.html
Of endeavors requiring leaps of faith, breathless freefall, and the softest of landings. Saturday, June 1, 2013. I'm so conflicted about expensive flats. With my inexpensive ones, I'll wear them every day and they'll either be ruined by the wear-and-tear or by the smell from wearing them without socks. But this Ferragamo ad campaign. Doesn't it just make you want to drop the almost five hundred dollars for a pair? Maybe I should just "start smaller" with classic Tory Burch ones. View my complete profile.

Of endeavors requiring leaps of faith, breathless freefall, and the softest of landings. Monday, June 3, 2013. Inspiration for T minus 2 weeks. Love is never finished, and life is never as clean as the stories we tell ourselves. If that robs us of a certain resolution, perhaps it’s enough that those moments let us sit back and look at one another and say: we almost didn't make it, but we got here. Now let’s keep going.". Parachutes And Patience: February 2013
http://parachutesandpatience.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Of endeavors requiring leaps of faith, breathless freefall, and the softest of landings. Tuesday, February 26, 2013. So I found out this morning that I'm doing clinical rotations at Oakwood Hospital. Next year. Though it isn't what I wanted, there are definitely some good things about training at this site. This is me trying to be nonchalantly unaffected and positive. And it's a lot like how I'm dealing with the impending snow storm by looking at this photo from a warm and clear yesterday. Http:/ drewthe...

Of endeavors requiring leaps of faith, breathless freefall, and the softest of landings. Thursday, December 13, 2012. While I'm still toiling away for my Respiratory Pathophysiology exam tomorrow, the blog was introduced. Just some extra motivation to maintain the grind. Break and Nicaragua will be here soon enough. Links to this post. Saturday, December 8, 2012. That feeling that you need to seriously clean up and re-examine your life? I've actually just agreed to blog for my school during my Nicaragua ...

Parachutes And Patience: Happy New Year!
http://parachutesandpatience.blogspot.com/2012/01/happy-new-year.html
Of endeavors requiring leaps of faith, breathless freefall, and the softest of landings. Tuesday, January 3, 2012. I never fully believe it's the new year until I start school and work for the first time. In this way, 2012 has snuck up and surprised me today. As for you, dear blog (and of course my multitudes of fans), I'm so sorry for having neglected you, leaving you rejected and forgotten. But no more of this! Consider this my 2012 resolution. My family and I went to NYC to spend the week between Chri...

Parachutes And Patience: Last Hurrah Week
http://parachutesandpatience.blogspot.com/2012/08/last-hurrah-week.html
Of endeavors requiring leaps of faith, breathless freefall, and the softest of landings. Saturday, August 4, 2012. It just felt wrong to post about school starting again while we were still in July. So I've waited until I completed my first week, bringing us into August. I'm already innundated with information, extracurricular tasks, and scare tactics by faculty for the Step 1 exam. In about 10 months (groan). Hilarious daddy and uncle. My sister calls this picture "Ebony and Ivory". My new sequin skirt.
