See what we get up to. In 2012, Hippo and Alice undertook Hippo’s Cancer Ride. Beginning on the Sunshine Coast and travelling as far north as Mossman and encompassing towns including Mt Isa, Birdsville and Cunnamulla the ride took 7 months, finally finishing in Brisbane. Attending more than 40 events in 32 weeks and travelling 18,000 kilometres, they met with locals hearing first-hand their tales of need for accommodation near hospitals. Designed by Elegant Themes.

The purpose of the organisation is to raise funds to build accommodation close to hospitals for the families of adult patients undergoing treatment. Fundraising Initiatives so far:.
