I’m not sure how it happened, but Ms. Ella turned three weeks old on Wednesday. I’m curious to see how long it will be before I stop mentally reliving her birth, moment by moment, every Wednesday. We had a big event here last week: We cut Aiden’s hair. Shawn was tired of him being mistaken for a girl. I? Would have left it long forever.

We are planning our second UC in just 3 short weeks! Before Ella was born, I wrote up this birth plan for Shawn, so he’d have something to use as a resource. We had planned on having a waterbirth, so I wrote it for that, but this time we’re planning on birthing in the bed. Some music, make me a snack (something high in protien), remind me to drink and stay.
