Mixed Eggs I Have Met: June 2007
http://sdtetsuo.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Mixed Eggs I Have Met. 混蛋 (hun4dan4): lit. "mixed egg". Moron, retard, bastard. Sunday, June 17. You're Doing It Wrong. Saw a good minor example of "you're doing it wrong" today. After completing my duties at one of the local public facilities, just as I finish washing my hands and turn for the door, I see a guy burst in, wash his hands, then go into the cubicle. Wait, what? Friday, June 15. Party Like It's 1989. God fucking damn I love YouTube sometimes:. Tuesday, June 12. At the MRT station. Subscribe ...

Radio Free Hipster Ep. 23: Hopeless, Romantic. Happy Valentine’s Day! I made you a podcast. Seriously, though, whether you are partnered up or unabashedly single, I genuinely hope you enjoy this Valentine’s weekend. To that end, I’ve pulled together a playlist that (I think) everyone can enjoy. It’s got songs about love, marriage, longing, loneliness, and forgiveness. It also has Adam WarRock rapping over Carly Rae Jepsen and Kirby Krackle musically shipping Poe and Finn. Will this summer never end?

Posted on Monday, 1 June 2015. Radio Free Hipster Ep. 6: Everyone’s a Story. I believe the primary difference between the podcast of old and this current iteration of Radio Free Hipster—aside from an obvious bump in production value—is mostly in my approach to it. For good or ill, I’m making a much more concerted effort to express myself emotionally, and I’m doing this for a couple of reasons. Give it a listen below, and, if you’d like to get early word of the future shows, plop this here RSS feed.

Radio Free Hipster Ep. 4: Never Quite Prepared. It’s new podcast day, and thus I bring you… a new… podcast. Wow; that reveal was way less dazzling than I had originally anticipated. No matter. This fourth episode sees a brief appearance from the eldest of my brood, some amazing music (both old and new), a plug for thrash metal misfits Lich King’s current vocalist search. And, well, some discussions of a less joyful nature. Be sure to check out all the other podcasts on the GPN. Qu'est-ce Que J D?

Radio Free Hipster Ep. 31: Left Unsaid. My voice is failing and I only have so many words left. So, obviously, I used them to talk about myself. And also I play some music. Said music focuses on language and communication–which has sort of become an obsession of mine over the past few weeks. For reasons that should be readily apparent. Radio Free Hipster Ep. 30: Hoarse Sense. From the “It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time” files: I tried to record a podcast. Radio Free Hipster Ep. 29: And Holding.

Radio Free Hipster Ep. 21: The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Star Crunch. It’s me again, internet–here to tell you that I have at last started 2016 off with a proper musical tribute. Episode 21 includes a classic cut from brunch advocate More or Les, dueling love songs from Helen Arney and Seth Phillips, and even a little musing on the passing of Bowie (with musical accompaniment by dj BC). You can check it out at GeekDad. Subscribe to the ‘cast via RSS. Or just listen via this handy Stitcher embed. Kinda new D...

Yesterday I guested on the Black Market Toast. Podcast. It’s a pop culture media ‘cast hosted by my friends Jon and Joe, and they had me on to talk about Netflix’s Daredevil. I had a great time goofing off with the guys and just generally examining what it is that made that show such a great viewing experience for me. (And, best of all, we recorded right before our regular D&D. Talk about how the series managed to bridge that deficit in a manner most divine, definitely give it a listen!

Radio Free Hipster Ep. 30: Hoarse Sense. From the “It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time” files: I tried to record a podcast. For you over the weekend. The results were… mixed. Give it a listen to hear my meager speaking voice stretched to its very limits. Also to hear me blame all my earthly troubles on tonsillitis. (That’s my new go-to excuse, so prepare to hear it bandied about a lot over the coming weeks.). Radio Free Hipster Ep. 29: And Holding. And yet I persevered. For you, listener! Right now...
