ANGUS' BLOG: Green HIS
http://his-anguss.blogspot.com/2009/04/green-his.html
Here is a place where I share my thoughts. Thursday, April 23, 2009. After reading the article, Y es, They Could. So They Did. By Thomas Friedman, I started to think about how could HIS become more ecological friendly. Also, since Hsinchu is known for its windiness, we can install wind turbine for electricity. So we can use electricity generated from the wind turbine instead of the electricity from the electricity company, which will definitely reduce huge amount of carbon footprint.

Gruber's Global Ethics Blog: Mother Culture
http://his-gruber.blogspot.com/2008/09/mother-culture.html
Gruber's Global Ethics Blog. Sunday, September 28, 2008. Mother Culture has been on my mind recently. It is a topic we start to explore and give a name to in GE 11, and it influences everything we do in GE 12. We don't have to put a name to it, it is just "there," all pervasive in everything we discuss. Where did this idea of Mother Culture come from? In GE 11, begin to look critically not only at what you see, but at the lens through which you see. Are we trying to change the way you think? I am looking...

Euging's Bloggy Bloug: Reflection on Ideas for Innovation
http://his-eugeneh.blogspot.com/2009/02/reflection-on-ideas-for-innovation.html
Sunday, February 8, 2009. Reflection on Ideas for Innovation. Schools should not be doing things that will only keep the kids working in school. Teach civics effectively in schools is an interesting idea. I think it depends on how it will be taught. Both negative and positive value can be interpreted in anyway according to the teaching. The Ideas for Innovation has a lot of good points. The only thing it needs in order to help things to improve is the right way to instruct them. On the other hand, I disa...
