The Orbison House - 301 Penn Street. The Orbison House at 301 Penn Street was built in 1815 by prominent attorney William Orbison. Orbison was born in Adams County in 1777 but settled in Huntingdon by 1801. In 1808 he married Eleanor Elliot, the daughter of Benjamin and Sarah (Ashman) Elliot. Huntley was the country home of Thomson Francis Mason, a grandson of George Mason. It is now a property of the Fairfax County Park Authority and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We’re very excited that the restoration of Huntley has been completed. It was a long time coming, but it was worth the wait. For more photos of the restoration process.
