Over one hundred years ago in 1902, Justus S. Stearns of Ludington, Michigan bought 30,000 acres of virgin timberland in Southern-Kentucky. The Historic District has a variety of shops, restaurants and a community center. The Histroic District is offically listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
