Sunday, 18 March 2007. Barnett Newman gone mad. Go on click on the title above! I randomly thought of Barnett Newman, when I look at this, when I accidentally rotated it. Barnett Newman produced many abstract minimalist paintings. He painting were non-objective and comprised usually of a large plain block of colour, interrupted by a thin band of colour, quite often placed to the left of the canvas, which is why I thought of him when looking at my photo, although it's very different. 18 March 2007 at 07:03.

Wednesday, 2 May 2007. If I was on crack the tree would have looked like that! Hmmm yes mayb the camera is on crack. 2 May 2007 at 12:37. Only small circular movements of the camera were needed here. Compositionally it wworks with the trunk being off centre. 2 May 2007 at 12:38. Perhaps the trunk is a little too white. 2 May 2007 at 12:43. 7 May 2007 at 05:50. Wednesday, 2 May 2007. Reality………. Hmmmmm…… time for more of my thoughts about this abstract art/photography business. I been thinking a little, yes me, thinking…! I’ve decided that all art, whether it be an oil painting, or a digital photo, is abstract in some way. Every time you take a photo, reality of what you’re seeing is being altered. What do I mean? I don’t what came over me, my philosophy a-level all came flooding back, kind of. Is our life real let alone what we’re photographing?
