홍익정신을 바탕으로 인간사랑 나라사랑 지구사랑을 실천하는 주요사업을 소개합니다. 1997년 창립된 국학평화봉사단은 홍익인간 이화세계 정신을 바탕으로 인간사랑 지구사랑의 보편적 평화사상을 실현하고자 아프리카 니제르 돕기 운동, 인도네시아 난민 돕기 등의 해외 구호사업을 실시하였습니다. 북한동포돕기 사랑의 옷 보내기 등의 북한구호사업과 함께 노숙자 무료급식소 운영 결손가정 및 독거노인 후원 수해지역 복구 등의 국내 구호사업 등을 진행하고 있습니다. 널리 인간을 이롭게 하라'는 단군의 홍익인간 정신을 우리 몸에 이로운 음식을 통해 전하고자 개업한 단군나라 식당(041-552-7720)을 2009년 5월부터 매주 지원하고 있습니다. 매주 수요일 65세 이상 어르신과 소년 소녀 가장 및 결식아동들에게 무료 식사를 제공하고 홍익봉사를 하고 있습니다. 전국적으로 홍익봉사를 겸한 나눔의 식(食)문화를 확대하기 위해서 가맹점을 모집, 식당 수를 늘려가고 있으며 현재 3호점까지 개업하였습니다.

HOME 주요사업 민족정신 바로세우기 운동. 홍익문화운동연합의 역사는 홍익인간 이화세계의 민족정신이 현대에 복원되는 역사와 맥을 함께한다. 지금까지 사상과 이념에만 편향되어 있던 민족운동과 달리, 민족정신바로세우기운동은 민족 본연의 정신을 회복함으로써 민족의 통일과 통합, 그리고 발전을 이룩할 수 있다는 새로운 개념의 민족운동으로 주창되었다. 한' 원리와 '천지인 사상'을 바탕으로 1987년 민족정신 광복을 선언하고 민족정신광복국민운동본부를 창립 매년 민족의 진정한 광복을 위해 광복절을 기리고 지난 97년 광복절에는 독립기념관에서 시민 4만 5천여 명과 함께 광복의 뜻을 기리기도 했다. 또한 개천절이 국민축제로 자리매김하는 데 큰 역할을 했으며, 지난 2000년 개천절에는 전 미국대통령 영부인 힐러리 클린턴으로부터 축사를 받기도 했다. 통일기원국조단군상 건립사업을 마치고 앞으로는 전국민이 민족의 뿌리를 배우고 자긍심을 갖을 수 있는 민족기념관 건립사업을 주요사업으로 전개할 것이다.
