This week has been busy. Went to two meetings, one on China and the Environment, which I didn't particularly like, and a second which was Russia and its energy options between EU and Asia, in an 'energy security' perspective. I think. Security is bandied about too much. This was more of a soft approach to security, if it even got that far. It was more of supply options and potentials. They seem to not have the same sense of urgency as those more strongly affected by the threat of Lyras. I can only hope that over their talking that they hear the words of the Council and take them to heart. The number of people who attend at least gives me heart, since their numbers are not insignificant. And if it leads to even one extra life saved, then my time now is well worth it.
