Noodling Around: Welcome to Capitol Hill: Ted's Bulletin
http://jblacknoodlingaround.blogspot.com/2011/11/welcome-to-capitol-hill-teds-bulletin.html
Miscellaneous Musings, Confessions, and Prattle. November 2, 2011. Welcome to Capitol Hill: Ted's Bulletin. Is a unique, cozy restaurant located on 8th Street, which is near the Marine Barracks, or Barracks Row. A lot of new restaurants have been going in there during the last few years and so when people say “8. Street,” you know that they’re referring to all of the hoppin’ eateries along this particular Capitol Hill thoroughfare. Our favorite thing so far at Ted’s has been the homemade pop-tarts. And i...

Miscellaneous Musings, Confessions, and Prattle. December 19, 2010. C is For Cookie. And Clementines. And Coffee. S we all know, a fun thing about Christmastime is the Christmastime-specific treats. Cookies, special coffee drinks, etc. So I dedicate this post to all the little sugary nibbles out there that give this season a little sumpin’ sumpin’ extra, and in more ways than one—they add equally to our tastebuds’ pleasure and our waistlines. My mom brought some cookies out at Thanksgiving. I think s...

The Lushnat Life: March 2010
http://lushnatfamily.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Our life as a family of 5. Friday, March 12, 2010. Okay, I have developed a major blog-reading habit; of friends, acquaintances, and of people I don't even know. It is taking a lot of time to say the least. So for months I have debating starting one of my own simply so that I will have something to show for my hours online and [more importantly] my kiddos will have documentation of their childhood. The Lushnat Life: June 2010
http://lushnatfamily.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Our life as a family of 5. Thursday, June 17, 2010. It is a little daunting to begin the "Cape Cod" post. We did so many things and had the best time. It was the perfect vacation with small children. The fact that we had an actual house to stay in (and each boy had is own room) made it that much better. And once you throw in that Aunt Pam is tied with my mom for best cook ever, we had it made! Honestly, it was pretty much my idea of a perfect day. Here we are on the ferry on the way over. M: Let me look.

Miscellaneous Musings, Confessions, and Prattle. October 28, 2011. When I was little, my mom used to make us "butterfly sandwiches" (a peanut butter sandwich cut diagonally and placed with a banana so that it looked like a butterfly). He other day, when I was making a quick sandwich for lunch, I decided to revisit the butterfly sandwich that I once held so dear. Just bringing a little bit of nostalgia to what would ordinarily be a simple peanut butter and honey sandwich. October 27, 2011. So, I recommend...
