Thursday, April 5, 2012. We were lucky enough to have two incredibly talented photographer friends take pictures of Ryder for us. Ryder wasn't feeling very smiley the day we met up with Nicole (www.nicolelogginsphotography.com), but she managed to capture many of his everyday expressions and postures. Scott (www.scottpereira.com) also managed to snag some great shots. The cradle was made by a family friend when I was born. Later that week we had a little party underneath our tree. Saturday, April 07, 2012. Babies all smell the same. Perfect. I wonder if that's what heaven smells like? At the end of the day I also smell - like sour milk. Baby girls can have a blowout out the back AND the front of the diaper. At the same time. Having a newborn snuggle up to your shoulder and konk out is pretty much the best. thing. ever. It's incredibly hard to put one down when they are sleeping. so much more fun to sit and stare at them than to accomplish anything around the house. A Dress A Day.

Twelve teams play in the tourney, some going home each night and some camping out at the schools and park and motel. There is really a mob of people around for all day Friday and Saturday.
