Sunday, September 7, 2014. Green Praying Mantis - Brazos Bend SP. Several weeks ago I started shooting macro, and got hooked. This is one of the reasons for it. My first Praying Mantis; have not seen one in years. This one was in the short grasses next to the trail at 40 Acre Lake.
