Friday, July 22, 2011. It seems my blog has quite a few layers of dust on it. Excuse me as I clear it off. *sneezes*. We are finally here in the Syracuse NY area and are finding our footing. The kids and I have found a couple of playgroups to join and Bill is cracking away at his school work. I haven't been able to go back to work yet because the NY Dept of Education is super duper slow. Took the pooch for a walk, The sun broke out for one day (it was splendid). Poor old man can only do one loop (half mile). Missed Swing’s well-child visit. Cosmo had Friday off. Got homework done. At Starbucks (YAY) where a woman wore so much perfume that you couldn’t smell coffee (BOO). Swing has a cold. And is crabby. Links to this post.

Was very nice! 160; We really enjoyed the tour; it was the perfect thing to do at the end of a longer vacation when the boys are getting “bored” of the pools and beach. The boat ride in was nice. It’s been a while since I’ve been on a boat. I liked the gentle rocking, and also enjoyed the dolphins and sea lions. Lunch there was great. Some of the best food we’ve eaten here, really. One is over the fields that surround our house. You get to a point in the road where you see a sign: Footpath to Akin Hill etc. There I turn right and through a narrow passageway.
