Sticks and Giggles: That First Post. A quirky look at NHL hockey through a randy mix of thought-provoking pontification and .uuuhh. mind-numbing stupidity. Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Just to get it over with, here is Sticks and Giggles' first post. Welcome to our site. Sticks and Giggles was started for the, well, kicks and giggles. Don't take anything seriously (unless we tell you to), and don't try to read into anything we say. Posted by The Broken Shtick. Labels: is this thing on?

Leafs Hotspot: Your Spot For Leafs Talk: Hockey Equipment

Leafs Hotspot: Your Spot For Leafs Talk. A view of the Maple Leafs from an average joe. Sunday, September 16, 2007. No Time for Inferior Hockey Equipment. I think we've all found ourselves in this position: It's late in the third period. Your team is down a goal and you're on the bad end of a power play with five guys bearing down on your undermanned squad. This is NO TIME to find yourself and your team with inferior Hockey Equipment. Only players know how properly sharpened Hockey Skates. In the rare ev...

Fresh From The Ice. All things hockey and Dallas Stars, with a little extra sports here and there, check it out! Stars' Summer So Far. So, it's been forever since I've posted. You can thank my school for that. The Stars' summer has sucked, to be plainly honest. First off, the ridiculous (if somewhat forced) decisions by Nieuwendyk to release Mike Modano, Marty Turco, and Jere Lehtinen from the team. Basically, no more memories of the good years. Morrow - Ribeiro - Benn. Neal/Ott - Richards -Eriksson.

Cities Deserving of NHL Teams. Should get good support from being the only professional sports team in town. That is, after the Blue Bombers move to. Players will find it even more undesirable than. That good product will always be 5 years from now. Same as it was 30 years ago. Renew the Canadiens/Nordiques rivalry. He̵...

Fresh From The Ice. All things hockey and Dallas Stars, with a little extra sports here and there, check it out! Once again, school has kept me off the internet and particularly away from writing hockey. This is very disappointing and I apologize to any who were hoping to read something. The team's forwards have been phenomenal. On the second, or rather the 1B line, Brenden Morrow and Mike Ribeiro form their usual deadly tandem and have had Jamie Benn on the wing for the majority of the season. They'...

Fresh From The Ice. All things hockey and Dallas Stars, with a little extra sports here and there, check it out! Stars Season Still on the Right Track. So the Stars had a fantastic first half of October. The differences in the negatives between this season and last will, to be redundant, make the difference in the Stars season. The primary player to watch is Lehtonen. If he stays healthy, he'll give Dallas a chance every night. If he gets hurt, the Stars will either have to rely on Andrew Raycrof...Surpr...

Fresh From The Ice. All things hockey and Dallas Stars, with a little extra sports here and there, check it out! And So It Ends. The Stars finally lost a game. The Tampa Bay Lightning, also on a roll before losing 6-0 in their game before last night, came out with a vengeance. The Stars came out cocky and sleepy. However, Marc Crawford best summed up the reason for Dallas' loss in a post game interview:. We couldn't kill a penalty to save our lives.". Fortunately, despite this poor game (and a poor start...
