Always Choices, and Everything is Change | Mad Love Knits
https://madloveknits.wordpress.com/2010/10/25/always-choices-and-everything-is-change
Cause we all go a little bit mad sometimes…. Always Choices, and Everything is Change. I’m sitting on the couch watching. Need to, don’t want to, and it’s getting critical if I really think that I’m going to run/walk thirteen miles in three weeks. On October 25, 2010 at 4:37 am Leave a Comment. Thursday, March 31, 2011. App World and Research. Research. That seems to be the story of my life lately, which is fine with me because I actually really like research! Tomorrow begins my journey into phase II of III in my PhD program. It feels good to actually feel like I am making some progress! Why am I telling you all of this? Well, because my good friend Cristi. Told me (and all of you! About something that is going to make my research classes oh so much easier! I knew that I was going to have to be...

Knit Witch Blog: Easter
http://knitwitchblog.blogspot.com/2011/05/easter.html
Wednesday, May 4, 2011. So, last Saturday my dad called me. This is how the conversation went:. Do you guys want to come over for Easter lunch? Luckily, we didn't have any other plans so we were able to go! We had a great time and Nathan and Tiana were able to join us too. One of my dad's business partners showed up dressed as the Easter Bunny for all the kids! The kids were SO EXCITED. This is my dad and my aunt with the Easter Bunny and Wayne with Miss Bella! Friday, October 29, 2010. I know you have all been waiting with baited breath for my pictures from SAFF. So, here they are! I don't know why but it seems that my camera is taking really crappy pictures lately so - sorry about that. I, of course, had to go and buy some yarn from Miss Babs. She had some really cute patterns for a baby dress and some baby booties so I bought those and some happy looking green yarn to make the dress with. I think I have about 1000 yards all together. Seriously, I had all goo...

Knit Witch Blog: Optimistic hunting
http://knitwitchblog.blogspot.com/2011/04/optimistic-hunting.html
Thursday, April 28, 2011. So, I was amused with watching Missy plot her strategy. Amazingly enough, she actually DID scale that roof with no trouble at all to get to the top! Of course, the goose flew off long before she actually got there and went to hang out in our pond where he knew cats would never tread. Once she figured out she could do it, she must have gone up and down that roof 10 times just to show off I guess. She seemed pretty darn pleased with herself! April 28, 2011 at 2:11 PM. Knit Witch Blog: June 2011
http://knitwitchblog.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 23, 2011. It's been a while, eh? It just seems like life has been moving at lightning speed lately! We have been spending a lot of time in Atlanta over the summer while I work clinical hours at the free clinic in downtown (always interesting! And teach a community clinical class for Emory. I LOVE the community clinical! It has been really nice to actually have time to talk to the students and work with them instead of running around crazy all day in the hospital! Knits4Bears: July 2009
http://knits4bears.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 31, 2009. When you have a cat who won't be deterred. Bob, my 17 pound red tabby cat, usually wakes me about 6:45 with his first morning plea for food. (He jumps on the bed right by my head to bounce me awake) This morning I thought he was sleeping in late since he didn't show up until about 7:45. (I feed them at 8:00.) This is what I was greeted with this morning. On to the knitting. I finished the AKG knit-a-long scarf. It turned out very nice. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Knitting, with dogs.

Friday, October 30, 2009. Class with BrooklynTweed - Jared Flood. Here are my swatch and steek samples from the class. This is a close up of the steeked edge on the back side. He also showed us how to pick up and knit the button band. This is the same swatch after I knitted on the button band. It lays so nice a flat and the steek just folds right under and lays flat on the inside. This is the front side. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Atlanta, GA, United States. View my complete profile.
