A prawning trawler caught a reef on their nets, and the boat sunk off the coast here. 2 men survived, and the search has just been called off for another. Prawning and fishing is probably the biggest industry around here besides sugar cane, and the people on the boat were well known. We know people who know all 3 of the fishermen well.
