I took part in a workshop in Helsinki, working with Aalto University and a local school, addressing some of their localised problems as well as looking more broadly at how their education system could be improved. An interesting brief that came out of this was named 'The Sharing School', which posed the question 'How can we enable teachers to share? The workshop continued back at the RCA in London where we met Stephen Heppell. Ed Tam, Tuomas Perttula and Riikka Manninen. MASTERING YOUR MENTAL RESILIENCE.

Prepare to Care nudges people to maintain their wellbeing for longer by:. Prompting them to make timely decisions as their health changes. Engaging family and friends to provide them with more support. Widening their network of support through their neighbours. Prepare to Care is a result of a project briefed in by Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, asking us to look at reducing the hospital discharge delays, reduce re-admissions and to improve the patient discharge experience overall.

FUTURE CITIZENS OF PECKHAM. Building on our previous research and our learnings from Project 42. We are now working on how the service can work at a hyperlocal level, embedded in a community. We are working with local community groups and schools to understand how Peckham as a whole can act as one giant educational tool for the children, and how the children can give back to the community through the projects they do. We’ve framed the goal as creating the ‘Future Citizens of Peckham’. BEING ABLE TO GO BIG.

During February, I made a 'quilt' for the tv cabinet. I know, I know. That's going a bit crazy, right? Well, it fits the top perfectly (18" x 58"), and I thought the quilt might protect it a little - it gets a lot of banging and crashing from the kids. BUT, my awesome husband suggested that it's probably just another thing that our littlest kiddo might pull on to drag everything OFF the tv cabinet, tv included.
