Holly's Brain Blog and Beyond. My brain tumor diary and the years beyond. Tuesday, May 8, 2012. My Grandpa Gus was born 100 years ago. Today I miss him everyday. This is one of his favorite poems and mine as well. The West Wind by John Masefield. It's a warm wind, the west wind, full of birds' cries;. I never hear the west wind but tears are in my eyes. For it comes from the west lands, the old brown hills. And April's in the west wind, and daffodils. Apple orchards blossom there, and the air's like wine.

I have found out some very interesting things while in Hawaii:. A: The ocean is really salty, like unbelievably so. B If I use a fake accent on an elevator just for fun I will be asked if the weather in Australia is nice this time of year and I will be unable to answer correctly. C Kava is freaking disgusting and has no effect on me. Evanston, WY 82930.

May 22, 2010. Punk Rock Bowling Tournament. We spent the the other weekend in Vegas for the annual Punk Rock Bowling Tournament. It was a fun filled weekend full of good tunes and good friends. He was a wonderful kind person and losing him was very hard. He was incredibly talented and very involved in the arts especially music, theatre and film. His amazing mother came up with the wonderful idea to start a foundation for. Emerging artists in his memory. I was lucky enough to be able to attend.
