Football became our life this Fall- and I was able to fake my happiness that Mr. J made the All Star team- because that meant another 2 weeks of practice! We were able to squeeze some other fun outings in like Hot Air Balloons, the Zoo, and the Discovery Center. Tuesday, April 13, 2010. We've settled in more. We've gotten most of the boxes unpacked or moved to storage. We ended up getting a storage unit - as much as we threw things out and took truckloads to D.I., we still have too much stuff! We're still looking for a dining room set and a new couch. We thought we wanted a couch with recliners built in, but now DH thinks that's too many hiding places for scorpions. So we're making do with half of our huge sectional. Life calls, so I better get up and get doing.

Wednesday, January 13, 2010. Low-Carb, Day Three. I'm halfway through day three, and let me tell you. It's not easy! OMG I want something starchy SO BAD right now. TV commercials don't help, so I'm trying to watch movies instead. Young Guns II at the moment. :). I'm being good, I'm eating deviled eggs and drinking Crystal Light. DH has a recipe for almond pancakes that are quite tasty and help with the sweet cravings. I'll probably have some fruit later as well. I WILL DO THIS! Sunday, January 10, 2010.
