Penelope W. Holme, owner of Holme Histories, is the recipient of numerous national, regional and local awards for her writing, including advertising's most coveted award the Clio. She is also a Savannah College of Art and Design trained graphic designer. Subsequent requests for histories by the owners of other historic homes led in turn to the founding of Holme Histories. Ms Holme lives in historic Beaufort, South Carolina.
