All of these Saints lived between the 4th and the 8th centuries A.D., so they are venerated by both Orthodox Catholics and Roman Catholics. St Ethne and Fedelm January 11.

What interests me most about the Celtic Christian tradition is the breathtakingly beautiful country in which it is rooted. Although I have no Irish ancestry, I feel strongly connected to Ireland somehow. And at Dublin, I was dumbfounded by the colors, craftsmanship and crazy detailedness of the Book of Kells.
