Wanderings of Susan : Summer Doings, Ok Slip Falls
http://wanderingsofsusan.blogspot.com/2016/11/summer-doings.html
Thursday, November 3, 2016. Summer Doings, Ok Slip Falls. Well I had it in my mind to hike OK Slip Falls in the Adirondack Park that has only been accessible to the general public for 3 years now. It is in part of the park that was recently acquired by the state. My friend and partner in crime Heather came along for this 6.5 mile hike. This is a horrible picture but I am standing on the road and the marker sits down quite a pitch. There are side trips to other sites but we are focused on Ok. Heather is a...

http://wanderingsofsusan.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 28, 2015. View From by Back Door. On March 20th this was the view. It is now March 28th and although much of this is melted there is still plenty there. I tip toed around to the front of my house and managed to see these crocuses poking up next to the foundation. Unfortunately many more of these just at blossom point were killed off by the extreme cold. Today going to work it was only 26 F with a wind. My guest room to be:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). http://wanderingsofsusan.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 31, 2015. Thanks to Green Thumb at Made With Love. For hosting this scavenger hunt another year. My new flag that needs to go up. The landscape of the art park had many neat sculptures. Inspirational message on a shirt. A bottle repurposed into a light. This fire tower is up high. Mushrooms for the roast. So hidden in the middle of the corn field is the Bald Eagle that has been appearing in the area as of late. A big area for a big reception. The 2000 piece puzzle I did over break.

Wanderings of Susan : February 2015
http://wanderingsofsusan.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 16, 2015. The Movies and a Quick Ski. So this is our mid winter break here in the northeast. Once again it is too cold to get outside and do much of anything despite having loads of snow to play in. Don't mind it if the temp is in the low digits but below zero and with a windchill one can't really enjoy much of anything. So the plan today is to visit my niece and help with wedding favors instead of skiing. I would on the other hand see The Judge. Monday, February 9, 2015. Good afternoon ...

Wanderings of Susan : November Project
http://wanderingsofsusan.blogspot.com/2016/02/november-project.html
Saturday, February 20, 2016. As I have mentioned, my consistency at blogging on here is not what it should be. Hence the title of this one. Back in November we had unusually warm weather, giving me time to complete a save a piece project. Mind you my intentions are always good they just don't always materialize right away. The drawers were in an oil based paint so when I hit it with the sander for a quick rough up it gummed the paper up and gummed the surface up with bumps/wrinkles. Please do not copy th...

Monday, March 28, 2016. March Recipe Easter Dessert. Well I hope all of you had a great Easter! We were blessed with unusually warm weather so out went the laundry. For my recipe this month I went back to a clipping from December's Food Network Magazine. This was going to be my New Year's Eve dessert but somehow it never got made. This bottle of prosecceo has been sitting since then. A very simple recipe to make. The gelatin sprinkled over the bubbly became even bubblier. Would I make this again? Sounds ...

http://wanderingsofsusan.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 30, 2014. Thanks again to Greenthumb at Made with Love. For hosting the monthly photo scavenger hunt. Check out not only this fun hunt but her other postings as well. I did not think getting this post done was possible. Things were very nutty hear the last 2 months. I just finished cleaning the livingroom to be able to decorate for the holidays and needed a break. So to me some of these were a stretch. North going home. The Shenandoah Moutains ahead of us. So Tis has fur that is like hair.

Wanderings of Susan : December 2014
http://wanderingsofsusan.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2014. So the end of another year and a challenging list to boot. Thanks to Greenthumb at Made With Love. For hosting this fun event. I stood on the shore to take this. I was very low to take this shot in the pool. A View From Here. My blinking snowflakes out my back door. They look very pretty when we have snow. Lemon Cheesecake and Berry. For the first time in quite awhile I had a go at my own. My dissaster at the moment and very plain. The Amish in town to do errands. My husband...
